 BnZ    REGISTRATION

It’s a scary thought when you think about what could happen if your vehicle is unregistered. Making sure cars are roadworthy is a big part of the registration system. It’s also about protecting people – every vehicle must be registered to be covered by compulsory third party insurance. This insurance makes sure that everyone is covered for personal injury if someone is hurt in a crash.

E-Safety Check

This is a pink slip that has been sent to the RTA electronically. This allows you to renew your rego online or by phone. You must visit an e-Safety Check Inspection Station to get your e-Safety Check.

MECHANICAL PROBLEMS

BnZ believes that it is part of a mechanics role to provide the customer with a clear picture of their vehicles current and future condition and requirements. If needed, we provide a realistic assessment of any pressing issues and discuss specific priorities and achievable schedules. Routine car service and maintenance will keep your vehicle running well for years to come. It can also help you save money since you’ll get better mileage and your car will run more efficiently overall.

Car service involves a number of different elements. Some of these elements can be done at home; more complex car maintenance tasks must be performed by an experienced technician at a reputable shop.

DYNO TUNING

Dyno tuning is a systematic approach to engine tuning.
Dyno tuning allows us to give your vehicle a tune-up of unparalleled quality, providing you with the smoothest, most economical performance possible from your vehicle.

The first step to Dyno Tuning is to determine from the customer if the vehicle has any particular problems or points of concern, ie: gas mileage, surging, lack of power, hard starting (hot or cold), pinging, missing, etc

We check the engine compression to determine if the engine is mechanically sound. At the same time, we make a visual inspection for obvious problems, such as broken vacuum lines, oil soaked, burned, or brittle plug wires, excessively dirty carburetor, etc.

The vehicle is then driven onto the dynamometer, with the driving wheels on the dyno rollers. Your vehicle is tested with the engine running, in gear, and under various speeds and load conditions. While we are running these tests we monitor the engine performance by comparing the horse power transmitted to the drive wheels in relation to the amount of engine vacuum. Simultaneously, our Wide-Band Air/Fuel Monitor will be monitoring the carburetion to check each circuit of the carburetor. These circuits will then be changed to produce the maximum driveability and efficiency.

Customer will be required to sign a dyno disclaimer, which outlines this service and owner responsibility.

Tuning can not be done in wet weather as tyres need to be dry.

Do i need to do anything to the car before i come in?

Make sure you have a full tank of petrol & your tyres are in good condition.

Can i sit in the car whilst you tune it?

No, for insurance reasons, as well as the tuner needs to be concentrating heavily on the car whilst tuning, without distractions.
